Relieve foot pain with Bob & Brad Shiatsu Foot Massager

Posted on June 7, 2023June 7, 2023

The Bob & Brad machine is an electric Shiatsu deep kneading (improving blood circulation) foot massager with 4 squeeze levels providing relieve for plantar fasciitis and neuropathy pain. It also provides soothing heat that adds another layer to the sensational experience.

Who is the foot massager for?

Use the Bob & Brad Shiatsu Foot Massager for:

  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Blood Flow Control
  • Pain Relief
  • Stress Relief
  • Swelling
  • Recovery After Workout
  • Long Hours on Feet
  • Fatigue Relief
Bob & Brad Foot Massager technology

Kneading Features

The unit effectively mimics the Shiatsu technique in an effortless and user-friendly form. The deep kneading nodes are designed to mimic the fingers of a professional masseuse. The foot massager has an array of features that can be customized independently with every use. Choose your massage programs and intensity level. The foot massager has 4 different squeeze intensities – choose between low, medium, high or max.

Kneading helps improve blood circulation by lightly tightening and releasing your feet, stimulating blood to circulate throughout.

Soothing Heat

The shiatsu foot massager provides soothing heat that adds another layer to the sensational experience. Sit back, pick your preferred massage setting, and turn up the heat for an at-home foot massage experience that’ll have you so relaxed, you might have trouble staying awake through your favorite show at night.

The temperature will gradually rise within 1 minute, can control the constant temperature and will not burn the skin. Soothing warmth on the entire foot can further meet your needs for relaxation to relieve tense muscles and stress.

Personalized Usage

Customize every one of your massages. Choose from:

  • 3 Levels of Heat (Low, Medium, High, or OFF)
  • 3 Deep-kneading rolling massage (Knead Intensity – Low, Medium, High, or OFF)
  • 4 Intensities (Air Pressure – Low, Medium, High, Max, or OFF)
  • 3 Massage programs (Air Mode – A, B, C, or OFF)

Easy-to-Use Controls

The controls are conveniently located on the top of the device with easy-to-read labels that allow you to customize your experience. Also comes with a remote but it’s not Bluetooth or Wi-Fi so you’ll have to aim it at the unit (likely IR).

Do not use the foot massager for more than 15 minutes at a time. Allow at least 30 minutes for cooling down between uses. There is a built-in 15 minute automatic shut-off timer so respect that and cool off so as not to damage your unit.

Bob & Brad Foot Massager versus mechanical options

Summary

We reviewed the Moji Foot Massager almost 8 years ago and at that time, it was the best device to travel with and it works. But you have the use your hands to hold the device to massage your foot. Same goes for the wood roller that requires you move your feet to massage it. Don’t get me wrong – they both work great especially for my bouts with plantar fasciitis during cold months.

But it is very nice to have a hands-off pain reliever or on-demand masseuse like the Bob & Brad Foot Massager. Before you know it, you’ve been using it for 15 minutes as you watch TV or read a book while getting a foot massage.

Because it is customizable (intensity, heat, etc.), it works for all kinds of foot fatigue or foot pain throughout your day. And you just sit back and relax while getting a personal massage. Or just a general warm rub on your feet for cold days…

Massage modes and features

The device is huge and does require some real estate for using and storing. Maybe a slimmer model in the future?

You also need to be close to an electrical outlet to power the device – a cordless battery-powered version (will add to the cost of the unit) is also desirable.

One nit – I like to cycle through the different massage programs (Air Mode) with the same setting for everything else. But as you go from mode C to A, it must go through the OFF setting first. This means it resets all my other settings when it goes to OFF 🙁

I highly recommend installing the included stand for a more ergonomic use of the foot massager. But make sure it is installed properly.
