What is LEMs Shoes GRIP Slip-Resistant outsole?
An all-terrain and slip-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole that utilizes zig-zag grooves and grippy textures to ensure your feet remain grounded in slippery situations.
This innovative outsole features siping (thin slits across the surface) grooves designed specifically to combat traction in wet and slippery conditions, just like your winter tires. This means you can confidently tackle any hike, explore any terrain, and conquer any adventure Mother Nature throws your way.
Which LEMs Shoes models will have the new GRIP outsole?
For 2023, the following models or styles will have GRIP counterparts: KOURT, DRIFTER Leather, and BOULDER BOOT WP. Both the BOULDER BOOT WP GRIP and KOURT GRIP are available now.
We wear tested the latest KOURT GRIP recently and is impressed with it’s non-slip features – walking on wet asphalt in a rain shower and also after it saturated the sidewalks. Even forcefully sliding the shoes to mimic slipping, it grabbed the terrain with ease.
How does the LEMs Shoes KOURT compares to the KOURT GRIP version?
Our observation is that new GRIP outsole is stiffer than the original KOURT air-injection rubber outsole. It also weighs about 2 ounces more with a higher stack height (about 3 mm more).
In terms of design, the KOURT GRIP has a more utility look versus a hipster look that I loved.
If you work in the hospitality industry, this is a better alternative than those currently available – my son used to get his from Payless Shoes stores when he worked in restaurants and pizza joints…
