DUER, the new king of comfort in pants for all your daily activities with a single pair

Posted on July 25, 2022April 3, 2023

Updated: 7/26/2022

I’ve been a Levi’s Jeans loyalist for a few decades and owned over 2 dozen pairs. Until I stumbled onto DUER. DUER’s goal – apparel for all you do in a day. DUER has simplified how people get dressed; the same pair of pants can travel from a hike, to work, or out to dinner. Less in the closet means less in the landfill, and less time getting ready means more time living life.

In this review, we wear tested the All-Weather Denim and No Sweat Pants Slim on a short trip to Vancouver, British Columbia. Weather projections were on-and-off rain with sunshine so we planned ahead 🙂

DUER ALL-WEATHER DENIM SLIM

The All-Weather Denim Slim is an ultra comfortable waterproof and windproof slim fit stretch jeans to keep you safe, warm, and dry in any weather.

DUER All-Weather Denim Slim

Fabric Composition

  • 70% Cotton
  • 28% Coolmax® All Season Polyester
  • 2% LYCRA® Spandex
  • Membrane: 100% Polyester

What is All-Weather Denim?

All-Weather Denim™ offers unbeatable protection against the elements. Combining the signature comfort and performance of L2X—COOLMAX® for temperature control, Lycra® for stretch, and cotton for comfort—with a water and windproof membrane, you’ll be covered no matter what. Subtle reflective details under the cuff add bonus low light visibility.

Observations

I wore the All-Weather Denim the majority of the time as it rained 4 out of the 6 days that I was in Vancouver. On wet days, I was kept dry and warm. On warm days, the denim kept me cool – I was worried the membrane restricts breathability. I was proven wrong – the DUER All-Weather Denim is all-seasons! The temperature regulating Coolmax® wicks moisture in heat and insulates in cold.

Averaging about 5 miles of walking each day (plus taking public transportation), I can definitely declare the All-Weather Denim as one of my top 3 favorite pants in terms of comfort, practicality, and looks. It is stretchier, lighter, and stronger than traditional denim.

And one more thing – for those riding a bike, the reflective designs (under the cuff) when rolled up adds safety in addition to practicality to these denim!

DUER No Sweat Pant Slim

DUER NO SWEAT PANT SLIM

DUER No Sweat Pant Slim has a mid-rise slim fit through the hip, and slight taper at the hem. Feels like a sweat pant and looks like a pant. Natural TENCEL™ fibres offer breathable, and technical product with comfort.

DUER No Sweat Pant Slim

Fabric Composition

  • 62% Cotton
  • 34% TENCEL™ Lyocell
  • 3% LYCRA® T400® Polyester
  • 1% LYCRA® Spandex

What is No Sweat?

Made from an exclusive weave of fibers, our No Sweat fabric technology is designed for optimal performance. Created to elevate the everyday wardrobe, we combined the natural touch of cotton, the flexibility of Spandex, and the moisture-wicking and anti-bacterial properties of eucalyptus derived TENCEL™.

Observations

DUER pants has been an amazing discovery and I wished I had found them earlier. As I look for more comfortable pants for all my errands and travels in addition to being business casual, the No Sweat Pants is the ultimate one & only pair of pants that I need. And I think I found it.

The No Sweat Pant is similar to my Levi’s 513 stretchable slim jeans (the only pair I wear these days BEFORE discovering DUER) with zip fly and 5-pocket styling. But DUER is superior in two areas – stretchability and comfort. The Levi’s 513 has 98% cotton and 2% elastane – significantly more restrictive in movement and comfort. Both have similar fit.

2022 TOP 5 PANTS

  2. DUER All-Weather Denim Slim
  3. KĂśHL Renegade Pants
  4. DUER Weightless Poplin AC Pants
  5. LEVI’S 513 Slim
