Under Armour‘s new Fat Tire trail runner is another innovative product design & development approach – remember the Speed Form, the first athletic shoe built in a bra factory? With the Fat Tire trail runner (there is also a boot for hiking), this men’s-only style takes its inspiration from the fat-tire bicycles that let riders bounce over rough terrain and even snow without losing grip. It also has a water resistant upper, has two layers of soft foam, a new Michelin rubber compound, and a slight rocker profile from heel-to-toe and side-to-side. Available in July 2015 with a $150 price. 10mm drop but I hope they will lower it more… I can’t wait to wear test these on the trails and comparing it to riding the same trail in a mountain bike!
