Observations
Breeze through airport security lines without having to take your belt off – the metal buckle on my leather belt always trigger. With extraordinarily long lines this summer, this is one less thing to worry about. I traveled in early July on a trip to Vancouver, British Columbia and didn’t have to take my belt off.
In terms of sizing, it’s the One Size Fits All (OSFA), up to 40″ (101.6cm). It is easily adjustable (shortening) by holding the buckle and pulling the webbing away from the buckle (see YouTube video here). If you need more length, you’re out of luck – you’ll need to find another version by searching for “long” versions of various models on their website.
The Capture Vision has a belt width of 1.5 inches (3.81cm). If you want a slimmer version, you might want to opt for the Capture Lookout Slim or Capture Illusion Slim – they have a belt width of 1.25 inches (3.17cm).
Machine washing the Capture Vision belt is not recommended as the wooden inlay in the belt buckle will be damaged – use a damp cloth instead.
The Capture Vision is also a great alternative to a leather belt especially with shorts – comfortable, lightweight, stretchable 🙂
After a full week of walking, taking trains & buses, wearing shorts, jeans, & travel pants, and solely with the Arcade Capture belt, it is the one and only belt you will need for all your travels!
