On April 5, Rockport launched its revolutionary new truWALK Zero footwear for men and women, featuring super-lightweight, flexible technology. truWALK Zero is the culmination of years of research and testing, making it one of the lightest shoes that Rockport has ever designed. To illustrate the ultra-lightweight quality of the shoes, Rockport has partnered with renowned performance artist Johan Lorbeer for his first stateside debut at the corner of 6th Avenue and West 43rd St. (at the Grace Building Plaza). Johan and team will illustrate how lightweight the truWALK Zero shoes are through his gravity defying installation where it will seem as if he and his team are suspended mid-air from a cube.
